I love Cotton Candy! My kids also love it and every time we get a chance to eat it….we do! So I was super excited when I was given the chance to review the Nostalgia Electrics Hard Candy-Sugar Free Cotton Candy Machine sold at ManufacturersClearance.com
As soon as it arrived, we didn’t waste any time and went straight to work. Assembly was a breeze! Place the extractor head onto the main unit, lock the bowl into place, attach the rim and you are ready to go……well almost! You have to turn the unit on and let it heat up for three to five minutes. Once heated, turn the machine off, place your hard candy into the extractor head, turn the unit back on and you instantly see the cotton candy forming in the bowl.
I should have been better prepared because the only hard candy we had in the house was spearmint. I have to admit it was really good and it made my house smell good too!
Once you are finished making your cotton candy, turn the unit off and allow it to cool. After it has completely cooled down, remove the rim, bowl, and extractor head. Simply wash the bowl and rim in warm water and wipe the unit down with a damp cloth.
The unit only comes with two plastic cones. In my personal opinion, I think it should come with at least four. One other thing is this machine is not like a large industrial size cotton candy maker, so the output is much smaller. For a home machine it does a very good job with patience. It’s fun and the kids love it!
You can buy a cotton candy machine of your own at ManufacturersClearance.com They also offer a wide variety of other products like electronics, kitchen, and personal care.
I was given the featured item at no cost by Manufacturers Clearance in order to review and give my own personal opinions on it. The opinions I have given are mine and may differ from others but it was not influenced in any manner by monetary means. Read my disclosure here
